Service rendered in Co-operative field :

1. Elected as a director of service co-operative Society, Kalasi and held the post of President during 1975 - 1980.
2. Elected as a director of Taluk Agricultural Produce Co-Operative Marketing Society, Sagar for consecutive three terms from 1978.
3. Elected as the President of TAPCMS - Sagar and served for six years in that capacity.
4. Represented marketing societies on the board of Directors of Regulated Market Committee, Sagar for eight years (1980-1988).
5. Served as a director of District Co-operative Union, Shimoga for eight years (1980 - 1988)
6. Elected as a Director of APSCOS Sagar, in 1992 and served as member of the paper factory supervisory body.
7. Founded the Nadakalasi Vyavasaya Seva Sahakara Bank ( a rural bank) as its Chief Promoter and has been serving as its President since inception in March 2002.
8. Elected for the Second time as a Director of TAPCMS, Sagar and assumed the office of the President in 2004 and served in that capacity for 2 ½ years.
9. Nominated by the Govt. of Karnataka as a Member of National Horticulture, State seed Committee for a two-year term.
10. Serving as a director of Malnad Development Foundation Since 1985. M.D.F. is an Educational Society running various educational institutions offering education from LKG to Post-Graduation.
11. Served as the General Secretary of Lingadahalli Education Samithi for ten years and was instrumental in getting a High School & Health Centre sanctioned and was Chiefly responsible for getting the High School building constructed.
12. Served as the President of the betterment committee for Higher Primary School, Kalasi for three years.
13. Elected as director of Havyaka Sampadabhivriddhi Samaja, Kedlesar for ten years and served as General Secretary for two years.
14. Serving as the President of Kalasi Valaya Parishath of Sri Ramachandrapura Matha, since 2005 and nominated by H.H.Sri Sri Raghaveshwara Swamiji as the President of Dasaseema Parishath, Bheemanakone with effect from April 2009.
15. Serving as the General Secretary of Sthavara Division of Sri. Ramachandrapura Matha Cabinet since May 2007.
16. Actively involved in various activities of Havyaka as one of the Directors for the last 20 years and as a Vice-President for the last two years.

Achievement: In the capacity of the President of TAPMCS Sagar, got a sanction of Rs. Two Crores from State Marketing Board (this is the only Taluk Society to do so in the entire state) to help maintain support Price for areca nut through large scale purchase during the market slump. As a result the price of areca nut rose from Rs. 4000/- to Rs. 7000/- within two months thus benefiting the arecanut farmers greatly. The fund is still vested in the society for use to ensure that the price of areca nut does not fall below Rs. 60007- per quintal.
