Hails from Purappemane village, of Hosanagara Tq, Shimoga District.

A graduate in Agriculture Science and Post graduate degree holder in Business administration and Management. Worked as executive in Bank, Agriculture Department, Public Sector Originations. Highly experienced in the field of Marketing, Product Promotion, Customs, Port Operation and Import Exports.

During his executive carrier he was posted and worked in different state both in South and North India and toured widely.

He was awarded best employee award, was a member of various technical committees. After taking voluntary retirement from service in 2003, he has become director of Shree Akhila Havyaka Mahasabha.
